Making a poster about a writer

教学目标

By the end of this section, students will be able to:

1. learn what makes a good poster;

2. sort the materials needed for making a poster;

3. make a poster about a writer;

4. introduce a poster to the class;

5. evaluate others’ posters and give suggestions.

教学过程

步 骤 教学活动 设计意图 互动时间&模式 Preparation Step 1 Before class, the teacher asks students to work in groups and choose a writer to research. Students collect some information about this writer from the Internet to get ready for the project. 课前布置作业,让学生确定研究对象并收集资料,为海报的制作做好准备,培养学生自主学习能力。 5’

1. At the beginning of the class, the teacher leads students to figure out how many steps they should take to make a successful poster. Then they will finish the poster step by step.

2. At the planning step, the teacher lets students suggest a famous writer about whom they will make a poster and give their reasons before class. Students vote to decide on the choice of the writer. These two tasks should be finished before class.

3. Students have a discussion on what role each member plays in the project.
