3. use verb-ed forms, verb-ing forms and to-infinitives to organize a paragraph based on the notes given.

Individual Work
Class Work Exploring the rules Step 2 The teacher guides students to read five sentences. Students pay attention to the underlined parts and try to find what they have in common.

The teacher leads students to go over the grammar notes on Pages 100–101, and then match each of the underlined part with the function.
