1. research an English song through cooperation and exploration;
2. write and present the profile of a song;
3. evaluate and comment on each other’s profile.

Step 1 Introduction
T asks Ss to think what a profile is. If they are not sure, T leads Ss to look up the word in the dictionary.
T: Do you know what a profile is? A profile refers to a description of somebody or something that gives useful information; the general impression that somebody or something gives to the public and the amount of attention they receive; and the edge or outline of something that you see against a background. These are the definitions from Oxford dictionary.
