How to read a poem

一、教学目标

By the end of this section, students will be able to:

1. talk about the main idea of this lecture transcript;

2. interpret the four tips on how to read a poem;

To appreciate a poem from different perspectives, like images, sound and sense.

Individual Work While reading Step 2

Have students skim the lecture transcript and answer the following question:

What is the lecture transcript mainly about?

Have students scan the passage and use A1 on Page 46 as reference to complete the chart. 通过分析文本结构,把握文章的主旨大意。 5’

Individual Work Step 3

Have students read the lecture transcript again and then work in pairs to find out the answers to the questions in A2 on Page 46. 通过信息加工和处理,帮助学生扫除诗歌鉴赏中语言知识和文化上的障碍。 12’
