T:What are Willy’s dreams?

T:Willy has so many dreams. I think all of you have dreams.Right?

So today we’re going to talk about Unit8 Our dreams.(花朵思维导图的中心贴上去,揭题)

Step2.Presentation and practice

Word time

Play a game:Quick respond. (里面含有新词:football player、dancer、writer) Read the three words in different ways.

Guess jobs from pictures and letters.Teach“dentist、astronaut、pianist”mainly.

Read the six words in a game: Big bad wolf.(遇见大灰狼单词,抱头并说“Wolf”)

Sentence time

Guess Emily’s dream.

S1: Emily wants to be a teacher.

T:Yes,I want to be a teacher.See?!Here am I. So my dreams come true.(引出come true,先行教学)

T:And I also have a dream. I want to see all of your dreams come true, so can you tell me your dreams?

Talk about your dreams.(Work in groups.) Then talk freely with T.

T:What do you want to be?

S1: I want to be a boss.

T:Why do you want to be a boss?

S1:Because I want to have a lot of money.

T:What will you do with the money?

S1:I will buy a lot of things.
