Teaching reflection
In this class, we talked about Wenchuan earthquake and the basic elements of news reading. After this period, I hope all the students can cherish what we have and try to help others.
For this reading course, I focus on improving students’ abilities of reading, listening, speaking and writing by adopting task-based teaching method as the main way. Meanwhile, I use the audio-visual teaching method with many videos and pictures as well as cooperative competition teaching method, which arouse students’ interest and make the class atmosphere active. The purpose of my teaching design is to develop students’ autonomous learning ability and students can fully show themselves in class. Most of the students did a good job. However, several students couldn’t follow the teacher completely, because the reading course is a bit difficult for them. So the weak point of this class is that I can’t pay attention to the students in different levels well.
Teaching is an endless art. There is something imperfect for my class. As a teacher, we should obey the teaching rules and place the students to the first. In the future, I’ll improve my teaching skills and methods, learn from other experienced teachers and try my best to be an excellent teacher.
