Step 1. Free talk
T: Hello, boys and girls. Today we’ll learn Project 2 A travel book. I like traveling. Do you like traveling?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: The summer holiday is coming soon. I think you are planning where to go this summer holiday.

Step 2. Let’s talk
T: What do you want to be in the future? And why?
S2: I want to be a dentist because many children don’t care about their teeth. I want to help them.
S3: I want to be a pianist because music makes people happy.
S4: I want to be a traveller because I can see a lot and learn a lot.
T: Good. You can eat much food in different cities.I’ll show some photos of them.
Step 3. Learning the food
T: Maybe the photos will be helpful for you to make your summer plan. Now look at the screen, please learn the name of the food in different cities.

S6: You should learn about the weather there, interesting places you can go to and nice food to eat.

S8: We’ll see interesting places like the Palace Museum, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and the Bird’s Nest. T: What food will we eat there?
S9: We’ll eat roast duck and many yummy snacks.
T: Good job! What do you know Hong Kong?
S10: Hong Kong is in China.
T: How’s the weather in Hong Kong?
