五、教学步骤
Step1 Warming-up
T: Stand up, please!
Ss: Good morning, Miss Wu.
T: Good morning, Boys and girls. Sit down, please. How are you?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you! And you?
T: I’m fine, too. Thanks! (The teacher point to a child and ask: What’s your name?
S1: My name’s …
T:What’s your name?

T: Your name, please?

T: What colour is it?
Ss: It’s…
Step 2 Presentation and Practice
1. Tell the class you are going to move around the class and point to an object.
The students have to call out the colour of it.
2. Act out the text.
Step3 Consolidation and Extension
Tell them to draw the animal with the colour they have chosen.
Explain that you are going to call out the names of animals and their colours. If the student has drawn the animal the correct colour, then he or she must stand up and repeat it.
Examples
T: A green dog.
(Students with a picture of a red cat stand up and say “A red cat”.)
Continue like this. If time allows, the teacher can choose a student to call out the names of animals and their colours.
