Step 1.Greeting and warm up
Do some greetings.
Listen to the song "Head and shoulders" together.
Step 2. Presentation & practice
New words learning:
Show a picture of the animals then invites Ss to describe them by adj. and lead in to the new words.
With the help of PPT, showing pictures of fat thin little big. Teacher uses some activities and games to make students master them better. Students can work independently, in pairs, in groups and so on.
Game 1: boom words,
Teacher read the words then the students follow. While the teacher read the “boom word” the students cannot read after the teacher.
New sentences learning.
Ss Watch the video then sing and chant with the action.
Show the ppt and ask Ss:”How many pigs?”
Ss: “eight pigs.”\
Read in details:
T:”What are they?”
T:”What’s the mother pig looks like?”
T:”What’s the father pig looks like?”
T:”What are the baby pigs looks like?”
Invite Ss to answer and practice the new sentences.
Read the text
T lead the Ss to read the text.
Ss read the text by group.
Practice
Practice the sentences by looking the pic.
