Step1: Warming up (5分钟)
Greeting
T: Class begins. Good morning/ afternoon, class!
Ss: Good morning/ afternoon, Miss Hu!
设计意图:拉近与学生距离,让学生与自然接触,为接下来顺利进行教学打下基础。

T: Do you remember the song of “Make a cake”?
Ss:Yes!
T: Ok. Now let’s sing it together!
= 2 \* GB3 ② Then ask students :what do we need to make a cake?
We plant wheat in spring ,and cut the wheat in autumn.

3.Game:Magic eyes(3分钟)
T: Now, let’s play a game.
(复习关于动词ing形式的短语:doing homework , riding a bike, playing football, reading a book, going to school, getting up......学生依次读出短语。)
设计意图:让学生提前复习本篇故事的主要句型,和动词ing形式 ,为后面的故事阅读做铺垫。

1. Lead-in &Listen to the story.(5分钟)
T: You are good students. Now, I’ll tell you a story. Long long ago, there was a farm, and there was a house on the farm. The little red hen, the mouse, the pig, the cat was lived in it.Then what happened? Now, let’s listen to the story together.
听完故事,请学生回答每个动物都在做些什么事情,并将相应的词条贴在黑板上。
T: Now, tell me, what is little red hen/mouse/pig/cat doing?
Ss: Little red hen: working,making a cake, eating.
