(二)任务呈现
1. T encourages individuals to say the chant and do actions. If S1 does a good job, teacher says: “Clever, clever. S1 is very clever.” Then T writes clever on the board and has Ss read it.
2. T writes these words on the board: quiet, nice, shy, naughty, loud and explains these words.
Teacher reads a word and does actions or shows a picture, then Ss try to guess the word in Chinese.
Example:
shy ----- T pretends to look embarrassed and hides behind a book. Teacher says the word, and Ss repeat and do actions to show the meaning.
3. Ss work in groups.
Example:
S1: Loud.
S2, S3, S4: ( Do the mime for ‘ loud’ ) Loud .
