1. Repeat the poem from Unit 2 of Module 1. Encourage the class to perform actions as the words
2. Play commands. The rest of the class responds. Stand up! Sit down! Point to the door! etc.
Teaching Steps:
1.Ask the students to look at the page. Elicit as much information about the story as you can in English by asking questions, such as What do you do every day? What did you do yesterday ? etc.
Play the cassette or read the dialogue.
Play the cassette again, pausing after each utterance for the children to at the corresponding picture.
4.Write the new vocabulary on the board and ask the class to repeat it. Also raw the class’s attention to the structure “ed” and ensure that they understand it.
5.Play the cassette again. This time pause for the class to repeat each utterance. Repeat this activity, asking individual students to repeat the utterances. Alternatively, divide the class into groups.
