1. Warming-up(3minutes)
Play the song“If you are happy...”Ask the students dance to the music.
T: Is this music beautiful ?
Ss : Yes
T: How do the people feel in the video?
S1: They feel happy .
S2: They feel angry.
S3: They feel sleep.
T: Yes. Different people have different feelings. Can you think of other adjectives about feelings ? Let’s have a competition to see which group can say the most. Are you clear? Let’s begin! (such as happy unhappy angry sad sleepy shy“害羞的” worried excited and so on)
2. Review.(3 minutes)
The teacher shows pictures on the PPT.
T : look at the pictures, do you think how they feel. Picture1 How does the boy feel ? Why ?
Picture2 How does the girl feel ,why ? Picture 3 How do they feel , why?
3. Presentation & practice(6minutes)
Then show the pictures of Page10.Ask the students match the expressions in the box with them.
T: Have you got the the right order? What’s the right order?Give them correct orders.
T: Now, look at the picture A. Why does the girl feel lonely?
Ss:This girl feels loney because she has no friends.
T :Why does the boy get angry ? Help Ss answer: The boy gets angry because his pen was lost.
Write the sentence“This girl feels loney because she has no friends.”on the blackboard. Let the students read the sentence two times.Ask them to pay attention to sentence pattern.
T: Now talk about other pictures like this.Please do it in pairs use Adverbial Clauses, then ask two pairs to show their dialogues to the class . Then check the answers.
