教材分析

本课是《英语》(新标准)(一年级起点第七册)第九模块第一单元的第2课时,主要谈论Daming and Sam在一次骑自行车途中发生的一个小事故。本课教材原文中,故事图片太小,显得情节发展得比较支离破碎,不利于学生直接整体理解、学习故事,故在注重文本的语段性、情境性的前提下,将教材原文内容进行了合理的剪裁和整合,使故事情节更加完整,丰富了学生的想象力,同时,融新旧知识于一体,以目标语言为主线,更能有效达成本课教学目标。本课在复习部分规则及不规则动词过去式的基础上,让学生懂得用过去式来谈论过去发生的事故,同时让学生建立起在做运动时,应注意自身安全的意识。

学情分析

本课的教学对象是四年级学生,他们在本学期已经学习并掌握了规则及部分不规则动词的过去式,对动词的过去式变化规则有了一定的了解。在此基础上,学生学习并运用本课目标语言来讲述过去发生的事故难度并不太大。

Teaching Procedures:

Step 1. Warm up

1. Greetings

T: Good morning, Children. Nice to meet you!

Okay, let’s say a chant.

2. Say a chant.

Go, go, go to school. Went, went, went to school.

See, see, see a monkey. Saw, saw, saw a monkey.

Buy, buy, buy a pen. Bought, bought, bought a pen.

Do, do, do my homework. Did, did, did my homework.

Clean, clean, clean my room. Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned my room.

Play, play, play football. Played, played, played football.

Step 2 带着问题进入故事

1. Lead in

T: Well done, boys and gilrs. Look! Who are they? (T举起大明和Sam的头饰)They are our good friends: Daming and Sam. Yesterday they played together. Look at the picture. It was sunny yesterday. (板书)Daming and Sam went for a bike ride.

Teach bike ride

1)做动作教读3遍,并要求学生做动作跟读。(bike, ride, hide, rice)

2)小组读。(给出本课评价机制,小组骑自行车比赛)

And today we’ll go for a bike ride, too. We have 4 groups. Group 1, Group 2, Group 3. Let’s see who will be the first to get to the finish line. OK? Come on, children!

3)抽读8个,要求学生做动作。

4)齐读Sam and Daming went for a bike ride.(板书)

2. 提出问题

T: Well, after they rode a long, long way, oops, what happened? And then, what happened? Some pictures are missing. We don’t know. Oh, what happened? (PPT呈现问号图片,T语气、表情、动作夸张引导学生思考)

3. Picture 7
