2学情分析
四年级学生属于中段,是一个承上启下的过渡阶段,孩子活泼可爱,敢想、敢说、敢做,求新求异的愿望非常强烈,并且有一定的语言基础和语法功底。在课堂教学中,老师不仅要通过丰富多彩的课堂教学活动激发学生的兴趣,而且应当注重在用中学,在学中用,“学以致用”,最后提高学生的语言综合运用能力。
3重点难点
词汇expensive, cheap, helpful的音、义、形, 以及对物品的特征描述。
正确掌握expensive的读音。能借助思维导图梳理如何描述物品特征。

活动1【导入】热身
1. Sing a song.
T: I’ve got a song. Let’s sing it.
T: What can you hear in the song?
Ss listen and say some words of the song, such as dog, cat, rabbit.
2. Talk about the beautiful things around us.

设计意图:用歌曲导入,欢快的歌曲很容易抓住学生的注意力。训练学生通过听力捕捉信息的能力。借助歌曲的语境,激活旧知,初步呈现功能句I’ve got...及形容词beautiful,引导学生开始观察并用学过的语言简单描述物品的一个特点。
活动2【导入】任务呈现
1. Show the picture of computer. Ask the students: What’s in my hand?
Ss look at the picture and guess.
Take the students to a computer shop.
Teach the word expensive.
Show some pictures with price tag, let the students compare with them and choose which one is expensive.
Teach the word cheap--it means not expensive.
活动3【讲授】课文学习
1. Look and say: Amy has got a computer, too. Watch and find out Grandma’s questions.
T: Amy is talking about her new computer with her grandma. Can she see her grandma? Can Grandma see Amy? They are talking on the phone. So Grandma asks some questions about Amy’s computer.
Ss watch the cartoon of Activity 2, get grandma’s questions, and answer them.
2. Play the cartoon again.
T: What does Amy ask about grandma’s computer? Can you guess? You can ask more questions, now let’s watch and check.
