Step 1 Getting ready
1.?Ask the Ss to read some similar words.
2.?Look at the cartoon on 87, then discuss the poem about their conversation on it.??
Step 2 A poem: Footprints
学生集体朗读已学过的诗歌Footprints。教师引导学生总结诗歌的特点,并学习其中的知识点。
朗读诗歌,体会这些单词的发音特点。
Step 3 Reading - My dad
1.朗读my dad 第一节,划出押韵词:day, play, today, bed, dad等。
2.朗读my dad 第二节,找出site, height, wood, dad 等押运单词。
3. Asking and answering
Q1: What does the writer’s dad do at work?
He walks on a narrowing piece of wood.
Q2: Where does the writer’s dad work?
On a building site.
Q3: What does the writer think of his dad?
He is boring at home but a super man at work.
Q4: What are rhymes of this poem?
They are “day, play, today; site, kite, height”.
Step 4 Read again
