Ss:美国/America

T: Wonderful. （出示美国图片）（讲授America）Pay attention to the first letter .It’s big .Do you about America?

Look at the picture .There are famous cities of America. (美国照片Los Angeles ,New York)

Today , we’ll learn Module 8 Unit 1 New York is in the east.(板书课题)

根据Los Angeles ,New York，通过美国地图简单介绍纽约并教单词east .in the east ,in the east of America .(Where is New York? 确认学生完全理解再进行下一环节)

讲授west，让学生体会east和west是相对应的两个词

Ss: Daming’s cousin.

T: Yes ,cousin .Cousin means brother or sister and not with you one mother or one father. (讲授cousin)

Daming’s cousin Simon lives in New York。New York is in the east of America .So we can say He lives in the east of America.

Listen and repeat
