Do you like animals? I have some pictures about animals. Do you want to have a look?出示动物图片。最后两张为袋鼠和考拉。每出示一个图片都问do you like it? Why?让学生初步感知why的用法。
三、Lead in
出示袋鼠和考拉图片。 They live in Australia. So they are Australian animals. 讲解Australia单词,及让学生感知Australian. 出示澳大利亚地图。 Here’s a map of Australia.讲解a map of. 再出示中国、英国地图。鼓励学生自己说出Here’s a map of China/England.回到中国地图, what language do they speak?讲解language. 让学生自己说出what language do they speak in England/Australia?
四、Presentation
Listen to the tape.
Once, answer the questions. What language do they speak?
Does Amy love Australian animals?
Twice, listen and imitate.
Third time, tell the story.
Forth time, listen and act out.
五、Consolidation
Summarize the important sentences: Why do you like Australia? Because I love Australian animals. Why do you love kangaroos and koalas? Because they are very, very cure.
