Step1.Warm-up

1. T: Good morning, boys and girls! It’s a nice day today. Yesterday I had a nice meal.Guess! What did I have yesterday?(教师做动作,学生猜实物)

Banana is my favorite food. What about you?

(学生回答自己最喜欢的食物)

Ss:My favorite food is …

2. T: Ok, guys, Do you like delicious food?

Ss: Yes.

T: Great! We are going to talk about food in this class.Ok, let’s start from brainstorming.

(Each student says one word about food or drinks in 20 seconds.)

设计意图:通过头脑风暴唤起食物单词的回忆。

Step2. Lead-in and presentation

1.课件出示Fanfan、Daming图片,让学生听录音,回答邮件来自谁,关于什么。

T: Look, Who are they?

S: Daming and Fanfan.

T: Yes, Daming has got an email. Now listen and answer.

(1)Who sent this email?

(2)What’s it about?

讲解English(English food. English teacher. English book)、English food.

T: English people have English food. Chinese people have Chinese food, too. Look, dumplings, noodles, zongzi, yuanxiao, moon cake, rice, steamed bun. They are traditional Chinese food.

2.Watch and circle.

Watch the video and circle the food mentioned.

3. Lingling had delicious English food. This time let’s listen to the tape once again. Before listening, I would like to give you three questions (Presents questions on the blackbord.)
