Step 1 Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. Ask and answer between the teacher and the children at random.
3. Review: 用疑问词“What, When, Where, Why”来提问与Helen Keller有关的事情,并引导学生回答。
Step 2 Introduction
Now, I’ll introduce a blind man to you. He was born in France. He became blind in 1812. And he was very famous. Who is he? What happened to him? Now let’s listen to the tape.
引出今天所要学习的知识,板书课题Louis Braille.带学生读数遍。
Step 3 Presentation
2.Questions: 边提问边板书问题“What was his name? When was he born? Where was he born? What happened to him? What did he learn to do? Why is he famous?”让学生思考。
3. Listen to the tape: 播放录音,请学生听录音。
4. Answer the questions:请自告奋勇的学生来回答问题。
5. Listen to the tape and try to repeat: 再次播放录音,请学生尝试跟读,理解课文录音意思。
6. Listen again: 让学生再次听录音,进一步体会如何讲述一个人的一生经历。
7. Practice in pairs: 让学生小内练习A3。
8. Present: 请自告奋勇的学生来展示他们所练习的过程。
9. Listen and say, then chant.与学生一起学习本课歌谣。
10. Play a game: Palm reading.教学生玩这个游戏,体会Helen Keller和Louis Braille学习的艰难,进行相关的思想教育。
