教学重、难点

1、教学重点:What do you want? I want a hot dog, please. How much is it? It is thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents.

2、教学难点:使学生懂得如何在西式快餐店用英语点餐。

教学用具:词卡、光盘、多媒体课件

教学过程:

 Step 1:Warm-up

   1. Greetings. Say “Hello” to the students.

2. Say a chant.

Step 2: Lead in.

1.T: Yesterday, I went to a fast food restaurant with my mother. My mother ate a hamburger. (PPT出示hamburger图片,教授单词,生拼读)

2. T: I ate a hot dog. (PPT出示hot dog图片,教授单词,生拼读)

3. T: Then I drunk a cola. (PPT出示cola图片,教授单词,生拼读)

4. PPT出示食品图片。T:Wow, so many delicious food. Do you want to eat? Ss: Yes.

T: Today we’ll talk about ‘how to order food in a restaurant’. (出示课题,板书)

Step 3:Presentation.

1. Do Activity 1.

T: Open your books, turn to page 2. Let’s do Activity 1. There is another hot dog. Let’s see.(播放动画视频)

2. Do Activity 2.

(1)T: Listen and find. Who is he? Who is she? (播放动画视频)

S1:He is Simon’s father.

S2: She is ….(服务员) 教授单词cashier, 生会读即可

(2)再次播放前半段,请学生回答What does Daming want to eat? What does Simon want to eat? What does Simon’s dad want to eat?

(3)播放后半段,请学生回答What do they want to drink? How much is it?

教授单词soup, dollar和cent. 归纳总结钱的表达方法。

Step 4: Practice

1.跟读课文

2. Role play. (It’s a team work.)

3. Make up dialogues according to PPT. (It’s a team work.)
