I．Warming up and lead in.

Review the sentence structure of the past tense by a cartoon.
Watch, think and answer:
“What did Goofy do last weekend?”
“He … last weekend.”
Students sum up the sentence structure of the past tense and time adverbial.

II. Presentation.
1. Leading: T:“ Goofy had a funny day last weekend.
Today, let’s talk about last weekend.”

III. Text reviewing.
Review the text of Module3 Unit1
Fill in the blanks with the verb past tense then check the answers in 4.
2. Sum up the change rule of the verb past tense.
