Let students understand the dialogue.

Teaching Process:

In order to realize the teaching process systematically, properly and efficiently, under the principle of “regard Ss as the corpus, the teacher inspires for predominance”, I divide the teaching process into five steps.

Step 1 Warm-up

(1) Free talk

(2) Sing a song together

(3) Play a guessing game.

Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by singing and playing and at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.

Step 2 Presentation

1. Teach new vocabulary

After review the words teacher said: You are doing a fantastic job.” Let students look at the picture and ask: “What’s this?” Then teach new words to students. Lead the Ss to read the words in some interesting ways, for example: when teacher speak loudly, students should speak lowly. Through this way can make new words impressed.

2. Teach the target language

Talk to the puppet and let students guess what the meaning is.

3. Teach new dialogue

Let the students see the screen, and then ask students to answer some questions. “What are they talking about?” Play the tape again, let the Ss listen and imitate the dialogue. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.

Purpose: In this course, Ss can understand the main contents of this dialogue and get the key points by scene demonstration. CAI can provide a real situation for the Ss to understand the dialogue easily and naturally.

Step 3 Practice

(1) Role play.

(2) Play a game.

(3) Make up a new dialogue

Step4 Summary

Summarize the whole lesson.

Ask Ss what they have learnt in this lesson.

Purpose: To check the knowledge Ss have learned in this period. Let the Ss review this lesson can make the knowledge more impressed.

Step5 Homework

Read the dialogue in pairs and use the words and sentence in real life.
