IV.Teaching procedures
Stage 1(2mins):Getting students ready for learning(班级活动)
Enjoy the song If you are happy.(师生问候,然后通过听唱英文歌引入本课话题的学习。)
Stage 2(5mins): Revision(小组活动)
Look at the pictures. Then ask and answer in pairs. (呈现四幅图片复习表达情绪的形容词,并在小组内讨论when are you happy/sad/angry/nervous?导入1a.)
Stage 3(5mins):Pre – reading
Talk about the factors that affect feelings and moods according to thepictures. Learn the new words and phrases.(利用图片或创设情境引入本课所学词汇,让学生初步感知,猜测意思·)
Stage4(18mins):While – reading(个人活动)
(1)Ask the students to read the passage and get the main idea of it.
(2)Read the passage again and complete the table in 1b.
(3)Listen and read.
(4) Read paragraph 1 and 2 loudly and underline the following phrases. Then guess the meaning and make sentences with them.
