学情分析：

经过一个学期的学习，学生已经适应了英语课堂教学。但由于年龄的特点，注意力容易分散，缺乏观察、发现、判断、总结事物的能力和方法。对自己有时不能严格要求，一些良好的学习习惯尚未定型。针对以上所存在的问题，在面对本课有关家庭成员的话题，学生之前是没有学过的,因此,这是一个全新的知识,但面对本课的功能语句This is…… 却是上学期学过的。我们可以利用这样的优势进行有效教学,通过以旧引新,实现知识的最大化被吸收和掌握。这就要求教师要改进课堂教学方式，让师生之间的课堂活动形式更加多样化，同时借助多媒体电教设备，激发学生的学习兴趣，创设真实的语言情境，为了解son和daughter这两个词,明白自己在家庭中所处的位置和自己的身份,并能理解兄妹等其他亲人间应该互相帮助的美德。引导学生自主、合作、探究学习，让不同层次的学生都有所提高，同时调整评价模式，让他们更好的发挥自身的潜能。

教学重点：

主要的目标语言：新单词son、daughter在This is…句型中的运用。复习句型What’s your name? 和How old are you? 以及回答。

教学难点：

在真实的语境中运用家庭称呼词语的功能语句进行交际运用。以及句子help each other的读音和翻译。

教学过程：

课前准备：

1、准备人物图片以备使用。

2、准备lesson 15的课文视频以备新课使用。

3、准备学生所用的答题纸以备练习使用。

4、准备课件

一、热身/复习（Warm-up/Revision）

1、Say “ Good morning ”、 “ Glad to meet you ” 、“ Nice to see you again” 、“ Pleased to meet you” to each other every group.

2、Sing an English song “Father and mother”

（信息技术应用点：白板出示问候的话语，以及歌曲视频）

【设计意图：问候可以增进师生之间的感情，使学生自然进入英语学习状态。每一次的问候白板同时反复出现“each other”短语，为后面的chant学习做铺垫。歌曲这一环节主要是复习与新知识有密切联系的旧知识，为新知识的引入做铺垫，使学生能立刻参与到英语会话课堂这个情境中来，为进一步探究新知凝聚了动力。】

二、新课呈现（Presentation）

1、--How to teach “daughter” ?

A、 Show the picture of lesson 13 and ask them to say the words, father and mother. And then say. This is the girl’s father and this is the girl’s mother. So the girl is their --daughter.

B、Learn the pronunciation of this word and try to spell it by themselves.

C、Then show an exercise, Father and mother love their__________. The students try to fill in the blank and read it till fluently.

D、If they can read well, We will clap our hands with rhythm and count numbers.

【设计意图：通过师生对展示内容的讨论与猜测，引发学生求知的兴趣。在讨论问题时，要注意调动学生运用所学语言进行问答和讨论，以便在实际交流中训练学生对所学语言的运用。讲解单词有固定的的模式，升调+降调+拼写+读+汉语。同时配上相应的练习，即学即会即运用。】
