二、教学过程:
1.热身/复习( Warm-up/Revision )
A. Teacher introduces myself : Today we have so many teachers here, are you happy? Do you want to introduce yourself to the teachers? Me too. My name is Mary. I have big eyes. I have a small nose and long hair. But I am short. How about you? (Ss introduce)
B. 导入: Today we are going to learn the new lesson. Lesson 32.(板书课题)
I hope after learning you can introduce your favourite animal or friend. OK?
设计意图:学生向听课老师们介绍自己,使学生的情绪得以放松,轻松地进入到英语学习的殿堂,激发学生的学习热情。
2、新授( Presentation )
⑴.PPT出示对话情景图:T:Who are they?(Li Yan and Lisa) Today Lisa comes to Li Yan’s home. They are talking about animals. What animals are they talking about? Let’s watch , listen and answer.

⑵.Listen and answer(A rabbit and a monkey)
同时把全班分成两大组:Now ,I will divide you into two teams. You are the Rabbit Team, you are the Monkey Team. And we are going to have a puzzle match. If you can do a good job, you will get a part of card here. So,boys and girls, let’s go!
设计意图:让学生带着问题听课文录音,做到有的放矢,而且紧密联系听音内容,适时给全班学生分成两大组,目的是使用贴图奖励给每组学生,使赏识课堂评价更有效、更有趣的落实。让学生积极参与到活动中来,激发学生团体合作的意识和学习兴趣。
⑶.Watch the video again, then fill in the blanks.
⑷To teach the new word“short”“long”and the new sentences:
a. Show the picture of rabbit: Look at the rabbit. It has a tail.Now, look at the tail.Is it long or short?(short) Teach short. It has a short tail.(板书) Ss repeat this sentence several times.
b. Teach the word ‘long’and the sentence‘It has long ears.’ in the same way.
c. Practise this sentence: A rabbit has long ears and a short tail. (板书)Ss say it one by one.
设计意图:教师运用不同的形式如通过大组,小组,开火车读等教学单词与句型,提高趣味性。在教学两个新词时,使用自制单词卡能有效地帮助学生总结发音规律。
