四年级学生学习了一年英语,有了一点语言基础,在Unit 5 & 6中学习了一些服装类单词和形容词,但是并不扎实也并不自如,有个别孩子的语言基础和天分较高,所以培养了几个孩子往小老师的方面发展,用以激励孩子们的学习热情和培养孩子们对语言的热爱。
学生的活动经验基础
小学四年级的学生对英语十分感兴趣,好奇心浓厚,能够积极参与课堂,乐与老师互动交流,表现欲很强。?学生具有比较强的自行探究的能力,学生在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都有了提高。本课话题是过新年,学生们很开心,他们喜欢在自己的探索中获取知识,喜欢在玩中学,喜欢在做中学,喜欢在想中学,喜欢在用中学。为了调动学生参与课堂,我设计了多种评价方式,有个人评价,也有小组评价,并针对学生在课堂上的表现,及时进行表扬,让学生自己到黑板上画奖品—气球,虽然时间有限,但是,我让学生参与评价,不但节约了时间,而且学生的学习积极性被充分调动起来。
学生学习遇到的困难
个别学生不能准确流利地朗读本课课文,sweater 和Kate 发音不准,学过的单词还需要不断地加强巩固和训练。

三、Flow Chart of Teaching教学简案?
Step 1: Warm-up?and leading-in

1) Sing a song : If you are happy
2) Text Approach : Play the VCR about New Year’s party and talk.
Step 2: Presentation( teach the new words and dialogue )
1)Teach the new sentence and words.
2)Listen and answer the questions according to the dialogue. Teach the new dialogue. They practice using their Ipads.
Step 3: Extension
Show them the pictures about Chinese and western festivals and say the names of the festivals in groups using their I pads. Then play the guessing game.
Play the story about Happy Birthday ,Bear. Then do an exercise using their ipads.
Oral English : A Happy Day .( Teacher tell them a happy day with the photos ,then play a
VCR about students’ Children’s Day. Ss play their VCR and show their photos to say Happy Day using their I pads.)
Step 4: Self-assignment( Summary the activities in the class. )
Count the balloons that they have got. Then, give the winner award.
Step 5: Summary ( Summary the class and set the homework. )
1) Summary the class with the students.
2)?Set homework.
Step 6 :Play the VCR about Happy New Year and sing Happy New Year together.
