四年级学生已经具备了一定的英语学习基础，英语学习兴趣高涨，善于表现，渴望获得更多的英语知识。学生们在四年级上册已经学过kite，ball等词汇，并且在本单元第一课中已经对there be句型有了初步了解。学生已掌握的知识和心理状态，为本节活动的顺利开展打下了基础。
教学重点:听、说、认读living room, armchair, sofa 和TV，听、说、读、写TV，ball, kite,并能在四线格中规范书写。
学时难点：
1）进一步巩固询问及表达某处有什么东西的功能句：There is 和There are...,并把词汇融入句子中进行学习、操练。
2）there be句型的主谓一致原则。?
