Step 1: Warm-up:

Step 2:Presentation

1. T: Today We’ll go to Kate’s home. Learn the new word: home.

2. T: Let’s play a guessing game. (Guess the word: computer. 电脑展示 )

3. T: Look! What’s on the computer? Ss: A picture. Teach the word: picture.

4. Read and guess. Learn the word : picture ,study.

5. Answer questions. T: This is my study? What’s in my study? Learn the sentences: What’s in my study? There is a computer.

6. Play a chain game. What’s in/on the ?? There is a ?.

7. Ask and answer. What’s in the…? There’s a…

8. Let’s chant.

Step 3.Practice

1. Let’s go Kate’s home. Kate says:“ Welcome to my home.”

2. Play a game. T: Look! This is Kate’s study. Let’s guess what’s in Kate’s study?(电脑设计游戏)

3. Listen and see. (课文的动画视频) Think about a question: What’s in Kate’s study?

4. Read the text.

5. Practice in groups. And then act it out.
