Unit 6 Topic 1 主要谈论小伙伴们去泰山旅行的准备工作,语法为动词不定式在句子中的用法。Section A和B所谈论的准备工作是计划出行方式、预定火车票和预定旅馆。本课选取Section C的阅读部分,为一篇约110个单词的短文,谈论的是学生们出游的经费问题,文章提到在加拿大,学生们为郊游筹钱的有趣活动:做一天的国王或女王。

学生情况分析:

八年级2班的学生活泼好动,有些孩子注意力还不够集中,喜欢表演、比赛、游戏,却不喜欢安静的坐下来,进行“枯燥”的阅读和写作。他们处在成长的“动荡期”,急于证明自己,热情而稍显浮躁。针对这样的特点,我为这节八年级的读写课,设计小组合作的形式,把班级分为9个小组,每个小组分工合作,有speakers, writers, reporters,小组竞赛贯穿整个课堂,多个生动外向的阅读环节和写作环节,吸引他们的注意力,激发每一个学生的学习积极性,引导他们自主学习,合作探究,在小组合作中体验着互帮互助、共同进步的快乐。三、教学目标分析According to the National English Curriculum, English teaching should aim at developing the students’ language competence, learning strategy and cultural awareness. As for this lesson, at the end of this lesson, most students will be able to:

Step 1. Revision and Lead-in

Show the picture of Running Man, lead to the topic of this class Running English.

Running Dictation: Each group choose two speakers and a writer. The speakers can see the sentence on the smart-board, but the writers can’t. After about 10 seconds, the sentence disappears, so the speakers run to the writer. The writer should write down the sentence quickly, underline the infinitive, and write down which part of the sentence the infinitive is with the help of speakers.

For example: I have some exciting news to tell you.(后置定语)

Our task is to make a poster .(表语)

It will take us a few days to get there by bike.(主语)

I want to make a room reservation.(宾语)

We can put on a show to raise money.(目的状语)

She asked Kangkang to book the tickets.(宾语补足语)

设计意图:以学生喜爱的综艺节目开头,调动课堂气氛,接下来复习动词不定时用法,用小组竞赛方式,给较难又枯燥的语法学习注入活力,在紧张而热烈的气氛中,学生们集中注意力、充分思考,达到很好的复习效果。

First reading: Skip the passage and underline the sentences with infinitives and tell which part of the sentence the infinitives are.
