Sentences: It’s very common to raise money in Canadian and American schools.

It costs each student one dollar to buy a ticket for the draw.

And even can use the headmaster’s mobile phone to call home.

难点：

（1）理解文中的被动语态。

（2）理解文中动词不定式的固定搭配。

V. Teaching procedures

Step 1 Review & Lead-in 第一步 复习及导入(时间: 10分钟)

1. 复习Section A和Section B出现过的动词不定式。

(选几个学生进行口头翻译，达到复习的目的。)

2.屏幕展示图片和 拿出真实的一美元钞票，让学生掌握：king, queen, dollar, Canadian, raise, common等新单词。

3. 在学习新单词的基础上，完成1b的词义配对练习，并核对答案。

Step 2 Pre-reading 第二步 阅读前(时间: 5分钟)

1. 复习Section A和Section B的课文内容 ，让学生回顾Kangkang和他的同学们要去旅游，需要定火车票和定宾馆房间， 他们将如何来解决资金的问题。如果是学生自己去旅游，又将怎样获得这些费用。

T: How can Kangkang and his classmates get money for their field trip? What about you? How can you get money for your field trip?

Ss: We can raise money by asking our parents, by selling old books ....

(学生的回答是各种各样的，教师用不定式句型总结一下他们的筹钱方式。)

T: Yes. We have many ways of raising money. We can sell old books to raise money. We can have a show to raise money…
