二、学情分析:
五年级学生已经有了两年多的英语基础,所以在教学上比低年级要更容易些,而且人数较少,由26人组成,课堂管理比较有序。大部分学生课堂表现都很活跃、很积极。课堂中会采用各种形式的游戏,及教学辅助用品,一方面用来调动学生的积极性,另一方面用来帮助学生理解、记忆所学内容,使课堂教学得以有序高效的开展。
三、教学重点:
1. Ss can write the word : eye nose hair.
2. Apply the sentence: “What’s her/his name? Her / His name is…She’s pretty and clever.”
四、教学难点:
Ss can use the sentence : “What’s her/his name? Her / His name is…She’s pretty and clever.” in real-life situation. And try to describe someone’s appearance.
五、教学活动
Step 1: Warming up/ Revision
Greeting.
Let’s sing a song: 《My eyes nose mouth ears》 In this part, Ss can revise the words in the previous lessons : eye nose mouth ear and hand.
Step 2: Presentation
New Friend: firstly arouse Ss’ interest by listening to a song and let the Ss guess where is the new friend from. Then describing the girl’s appearance to consolidate the new words: eye nose hair.Accordingly, let the Ss guess “Who’s she?” then put forward the key sentence: “What’s her name? Her name is... ” “She’s pretty.”
Quick response: practise the key sentence: “What’s her name? Her name is... ” and let the Ss try to describe the appearance of female.
Doraemon: introduce Meiqi’s friend: listen to a song and guess where is he from and then describe the appearance of Doraemon, let the Ss guess “Who’s he?” then put forward the key sentence:“What’s his name? His name is... ” Moreover, watch a short video and let the Ss know more about Doraemon: “He’s clever.”
Play a game: Who’s missing? Practise the sentence :“What’s his name? His name is... ” and let the Ss try to describe the appearance of male.
Just talk: Go to the theme park: Doraemon invite Ss to go to the theme park and accordingly learn today’s dialogue. Return to the textbook, understanding the use of language. The Ss should answer the following questions before watching: 1) Who are they? 2) What does Zhou Pei look like? Then work in pairs and show. By pair work, Ss can use it freely.
Step 3: Practice
1.《植物大战僵尸》:It consists of two modes: Adventure mode and Challenge mode. This part is adopted to test Ss’ knowledge of this lesson from simple to complex.
2. Sing a song: Finger family: choose one figure and discuss in groups.
