Step I Presentation
Present some pictures about the new words and phrases:explore, postcard, receive, vacation, on vacation.
Learn the examples of "while" and "when". Ask the students to pay attention to the Continuative Verbs and terminative Verbs used in the Attributive Clauses
of time.
Step II Practice
1.Check the students' work on making sentences according to the pictures of 3. Then review the rules of present participle.
2.Conclude the differences between "while" and "when". Do some exercises for the students to consolidate "while" and "when".
3.Show some pictures. Lead the students to talk about traveling .
4.Play the recording of 1a. Ask the students to tick what they hear in 1b. Then check the answers.
Step III Production
1.Students share their group work---translate 1a .
2.Explain the key points and difficult points of 1a. And then mark down the sentences about invitation, suggestion, agreement and request.
