从三个问题着手,学习文章的第一段。
师:All of us like shopping, so let’s travel around the world and do some shopping with me, OK? Look, This is a world map. We have five places to go. Let’s go to the first place. PPT 出现Bei Jing, Where is Bei Jing?Guess, What Special shop shall we go in Bei Jing? Tea shop. Do you like tea? Are you interested in drinking tea? 学生会出现不同答案。But I like drinking tea, I’m interested in drinking tea.I often make a pot of tea in the morning.利用PPT学习短语a pot of tea. What kind of tea do I like, can you guess? Let’s see some different kinds of tea first. 利用PPT介绍四种茶并着重对红茶和黑茶进行区分。Can you guess? 此时创设了真实的情景鼓励学生用句型”do you like…?”进行猜测。当猜到Wulong tea时,教师说someone also likes Wulong tea, let’s see who she is引出本课第一段的学习。学生找到答案Wudi’s grandma. 教师问 What does Wudi buy? 要求学生第二次阅读第一段。通过这个问题学习two boxes of tea的表达方式,并操练句型he buys…。教师抛出第三个问题Why does he buy Wulong tea? 引导学生找出完整答案并会用because 句式回答问题。最后教师提问Where does he buy them? 则是要求学生能够明确tea shop 所处的地点。几个问题之后,教师利用板书和PPT出示的本课教学目标要求的主要句型结构,要求学生两人一组操练,能够复述第一段的主要内容,操练之前教师要进行示范。每个学生回答问题之后教师要求学生用good better best来评价,让学生初步理解best的含义。奖励卡片可根据学生完成情况灵活发放。

Chocolate shop. 利用PPT图片理解full of 的含义,教师可用There are a lot of chocolates in the shop 进行解释。Do you like chocolates? Are you interested in chocolates? There is a girl called Elaine, she is interested in chocolates, 要求学生阅读第二段并回答What does Elaine buy? 通过回答学习chocolate horses and chocolate cows. 与第一段的学习一样提出问题why and where, 要求学生根据板书内容自己练习复述第二段。
学习Paris, New York, Holland的几个special shops. 师:shall we go to…? What special shop shall we go in…? What do you want to buy in…? Why? 学完五个地点都要进行板书。
Practice
利用板书回顾五个地点和五个专卖店。T: we travelled around the world and learned many special shops today. Do you want to buy something? Do you know what festival is in May? Mother’s Day. So shall we make a shopping plan? In this plan, you should tell me what do you want to buy? Why do you want to buy them/it? Where can we buy it/them? Let’s write on the paper. 投影展示一篇优秀作品。
