教师拍手，学生听拍手次数抢答。如教师拍四下手，代表四月份，学生听到拍手声，心算次数后，以举手抢答的形式，说出并拼出单词April.

1“There are some special days in May.”情景句的呈现与操练
教师出示五月份月历，说：There are some special days in May. What are they?帮助学生理解并回答：May Day and Mother’s Day.教师说:May Day is on May 1st. Mother’s Day is on the second Sunday in May.It’s on May 12th this year.
教师出示六月份月历，说：There are some special days in June.What are they?引导学生回答:Children’s Day and Father Day.并说出日期。
教师板书special days in May，请同桌根据五月份月历创编对话，示例如下：
S1：There are some other special days in May.
S2:What are they?
S1:May Day and Mother’s Day.
When is the art show? It’s on May 1st.话轮的呈现与操练。
教师播放课件某学校组织的学生艺术展。引导学生观察与思考后，提问：What school activity is this？学生集思广益回答问题。教师可将学生们的答案书写在黑板左侧直到学生说出：The art show. 教师用另外颜色的粉笔将这个答案板书在黑板左侧。然后提问:When is the art show? 当学生说出May时，引导他们完整回答：It’s on May 1st.
教师在黑板中央板书句型:When is the art show?It’s on May 1st. 请学生跟读，
同桌学生分别扮演Mr Jones和张鹏操练对话。对话示例如下。
