Step 1: Warm-up/Revision

Greetings

电话问候:一名同学扮演Kate,教师打电话问候Kate,了解她的病情,并告诉她同学们想去家里探望的消息教师与Kate的对话,承上启下,既延续了本单元第19、20课的情境,又为本课新课呈现的Caring about others情境做了铺垫。此环节既复习了本单元已学的目标语言,又使学生在轻松愉悦的氛围中进入新课学习。

T: This is Miss Sun speaking. May I speak to Kate, please?

Kate: Good morning, Miss Sun. This is Kate speaking

T:What’s wrong with you?

Kate:I have a fever and a headache.

T:You should take some medicine and stay in bed.

Kate: OK. I will.

T:Your classmates will come to see you after school.They will help you with your lessons.

Kate:Thank you.

Step 2: Presentation

观看本课教学视频,整体感知文本对话。
