2.宾语从句一般由下面一些词引导。
1)由 that引导 2)由whether/if引导
3)由疑问代词或疑问副词：who，whom，whose，what which， when， why，where， how等引导。
二 . 宾语从句中引导词的选择
1.由陈述句变来的宾语从句，用连词 that 引导，that只起语法作用，没有实在意义，在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。
e.g:1) He said (that) he wanted to stay at home.
2)I am sure (that) he will succeed. ??
3)He said （ that ）he had a new dictionary .
但是，如果 that 引导的是几个表示并列关系的宾语从句时，最后一个 that 不能省略。
e.g: I know ( that ) Tom comes from France and that he teaches in a middle school in Guilin .
:Exercise:
He is a teacher. My friend says... (连宾语从句）
My friend says that he is a teacher.

He told us (that) he had made a mistake.

2.由一般疑问句转换而来的宾语从句,用 whether 或 if 引导,if和whether在句中的意思是“是否”,不可省略,但两词常可以互换使用。
e.g:1) I want to know whether / if she still lives there .
2)She asked me if /whether she could borrow these books .
3)Lily wanted to know if / whether her grandma liked the handbag .
注意：if 与 whether引导宾语从句时一般可以互换，但下列几种情况下只能用whether, 不能用if.
①与 or 或 or not 连用时。
Could you tell me whether that’s a fast train or not?
Please tell me _______you can come or not .
I don’t know ________it is a cat or a cap.
