I . Time adverbials and structure
Look, Millie is wearing sports clothes.
Now Amy and Daniel are coming.
-Where is Sandy?
-She is coming.-It’s 4 o’clock.
-She is wearing a red blouse.
Positive: S +am/is/are + doing
Negative: S +am/is/are not + doing
Y/N Question: Is/Are +S + doing?
II. Present participle
1. Most verbs: + ing: wear-wearing
2. Verbs ending in a silent e:
-e+ing: come-coming
3. Verbs ending in ie:
-ie+y+ing: lie-lying
4. Some verbs ending in a vowel +a consonant:
double the consonant +ing: sit-sitting
