Yesterday afternoon I went to a library with the book I borrowed for you, and then started reading it. I was enjoying its attractive plots and characters when my mother called me, telling me the bad news that my grandma fell down and felt hurt badly. Worried and anxious, I rushed home immediately and wasn’t aware of the fact that I had left your book on the library desk. What’s worse, when I got back, the book had been away.

When the library was going to close, I tired up the books in a hurry and left soon, not knowing that I forgot to take your book. I tried to look for it the next day, but unfortunately failed.

Last Sunday I took a train to visit my aunt, on which way I read the book you lent me to kill the time. Thanks to your book, it accompanied me on the lonely journey. Thanks to the kind stranger, I was saved!

And to make matters worse, my mobile phone was broken too. At this time, a passer-by stopped and asked me about my home address and the telephone numbers of my parents. I hesitated over whether to tell him at first, but soon I chose to trust him. A few minutes, later my parents came to the scene. Before we said thanks to the man, he had disappeared into the darkness.
