His mission was to discover the unknown space.
Neil Armstrong
Born on August 5, 1930, he was a former American test pilot and astronaut who was the first human being to walk on the Moon.
Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon back on 21st July, 1969.
He becomes the first man to set foot on the moon. He describes the moment as “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”.
On April 12th,1981, the first Space Shuttle Columbia was successfully launched into space.
