King Arthur King Arthur 亚瑟王

King Arthur was a legendary(传奇的) British leader who led the Britain to defend against the invaders(侵略者) in the early 5th century. He was leader of the Round Table Knights.

King Arthur married Queen Guenevere（格尼薇儿 ）,her father gives him a round table as dowry（嫁妆）that can accommodate 150 people, which was called “The Winchester Round Table ( 温切斯特圆桌)”. The round-table symbolizes love and equality.

Knights of The Round Table 圆桌骑士

Every year, Arthur’s most trusted knights will be gathered in king’s castle, Camelot. These?knights?were heroes,?famous for their strength, courage, loyalty，and skill in war.

Sir Gawain is?King Arthur’s nephew and a?Knight of the Round Table.? He is often described as loyal, powerful, respectable, and sympathetic(富有同情心的). He is a friend to young knights, and a defender of the poor.?
