①主语若是单数名词，后面尽管跟有 with; together with; along with； but; except; besides； including; as well as; in addition to；not; rather than; like…等引导的短语，谓语仍用单数。
eg：The teacher , as well as his students is playing football.

and 是个变色龙，连接的并列主语表示同一个人,同一事,同一概念, 谓语动词要用单数；若表示两个或两个以上的人、事、概念时，用复数。认清它的真面目。
（1）The Chinese teacher and class teacher(班主任语文老师) is very strict with us.
（2）Bread and butter(涂有黄油的面包)is their daily food.
