Complete the text using the sentences and clauses below to fill in the gaps.
Task 2:
1.This meant that the attacker had not been in trouble with the police before.
2.They realized that the fingerprint belonged to one of the attackers.
3.The police now realized that Leonard and his girlfriend could have been the ones who attacked Mr Bahmad, the taxi driver.
4.So they did not think the motive for the killing had been theft. As Mr Bahmad had been stabbed so savagely, they thought the killer might be a person with a severe mental illness.
5.They now knew that he had been killed with a bow and arrow.
6.This evidence told them that there had been at least two passengers in the taxi and that they had both been injured during the attack on Mr Bahmad.
7.And so they knew who the dead man was.
