Zeng Tai, a local official, received a piece of intelligence(情报)which was about national security. He rushed to Shendu to inform Di Renjie the moment he received it. However, on his way to Shendu , he was almost killed by an unknown murder(凶手). The murder was so fierce that he nearly lost his life. Because this accident mattered greatly, Di Renjie conducted an in-depth investigation(调查). In order to find out the murder, he sent Li Yuanfang to investigate the accident where it happened immediately. The more they investigated, the more strange things they discovered. Although the case was new, some of the M.O.S.（作案手段）were very similar to those of many years ago. If there was a link between these cases, they perhaps knew what these murders wanted. They analyzed these cases in depth, such as the tools, the M.O.S., so that they could find out the murders as soon as possible.
