Round 1 Correcting 5 mistakes

Nelson Mandela was born in July 18, 1918. He comes from a small region in South Africa. It is a very poor country. His father was a chief of a tribe. He had a great influence on little Mandela. He made Mandela dream of equality, freedom and justice. Fortunately, Mandela was just at the age of 9. His father died from an illness. He felt very upset. Then he was brought up by one of his father’s good friends. The friend treated him as his own son. He offered Mandela a good education. Mandela lived in a stage. A great number of laws prevented their rights and progress.

He made up her mind to study hard. Later he turned into a lawyer. He was excellent. He became quite popular among black people. In order to fight against the government better, he set up ANC Youth League. He failed many times in this hard career. Eventually, he decided to answer violence with violence. In 1962, he was sentencing to prison. There he didn’t abandon his belief. He was set free after 27 years. Mandela persisted in winning. He came to power as president in 1994. Also he was rewarded with the Nobel Peace Prize. He is called the father of South Africa.
