When the babies see the keepers, they run over to them with excitement and some of young pandas even walk into their friends and fall over.

How lovely and cute are the pandas?

1. …they run over with excitement and some of them even walk into their friends and fall over!

它们地跑过去，其中一些甚至撞上自己的伙伴而跌倒！

此句中run over； walk into和fall over均为短语动词。

Language points

Lin Wei and the other panda keepers are preparing the milk for the baby pandas’ breakfast. 林伟和其他的大熊猫饲养员正在为大熊猫幼崽的早餐准备牛奶。

prepare的主要用法如下：

（1）prepare sth. (for...)“（为……而）准备某物”（表直接的动宾关系，准备的东西是直接能吃或能用的）

Our English teacher was preparing the lessons when I came into the office.当我走进办公室时，我们的英语老师正在备课。

（2）prepare for sth. “为某事而做准备；准备应对/应付某事”（表间接的动宾关系，为之做准备，并非准备其本身）

The students are busy preparing for the final exam. 学生们正忙于为期末考试做准备。

（（3）prepare sb. sth. = prepare sth. for sb. 给/为某人准备某物She prepared us a nice breakfast. =She prepared a nice breakfast for us.她为我们准备了一顿美味的早餐。

（4）prepare to do sth. 准备做某事

Just as we were preparing to leave, the phone rang.正当我们准备离开时，电话响了。
