1.宾语从句的连接词

(1)由从属连词that引导的宾语从句,that在句中无词汇意义,在从句中不能充当成分,在口语中往往省略。

1. He said (that) he missed me very much.

2.I think (that ) mooncakes are delicious.

Example :

(2)由连接代词 Who,whom,whose, which,what 和连接副词 where,how, why,when引导的宾语从句

Example:

1.I wonder whose hair is the longest of all the girls.

2.He asked me when I could come.

3.We don’t know where he lives.

4.Can you tell me what I can do to help him.

(3)由从属连词 whether, if 引导的宾语从句

Example :

Can you come here tomorrow?

Please let me know.

Please let me know if /whether you can come here tomorrow.

if/whether 引导宾语从句 表示“是否”

if/whether可互换,

但whether…or not为固定搭配.(不管,是否,无论如何)

1.I wonder if/whether she is right .

2.He didn’t know whether Lucy could come back or not .

2.宾语从句的语序

无论主句是陈述句还是疑问句,从句都是运用陈述句的语序,即是“主语在前,谓语在后”的顺序(主语+谓语)

1.Mary wants to know if you can help her.

2.Bob says that he will leave for Shanghai tomorrow.

3.I wonder how you went to work.

3.宾语从句中时态的变化

?当主句是一般现在时,从句时态不作限制,我们可以根据句子的意思来使用需要的任何一种时态。

1.My mother hopes that everything goes well.

2.I hear that she will come tomorrow.
