Chinese Spring Festival
春节
This festival is the Chinese new year,according to the lunar calendar(阴历的). It's the most important festival for the Chinese festival. All the people leave their work and go back home to stay together with their family. During the festival, people usually put up couplets(贴春联)、eat dumplings and set off fireworks(放烟花). Children usually get pocket money(压岁钱).
I like the couplets about the Spring Festival.
Because I think that they can bring good luck for the coming year.
Lantern Festival
元宵节
The Lantern Festival is on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month（农历一月）. The important activity on this day is watching lanterns. The lanterns are in different shapes and sizes .“Guessing lantern riddles（猜灯谜）” is an interesting part of the festival. People also eat a kind of delicious dumpling called yuan xiao on this day.
