◆ 词块 (lexical chunks) 是真实交际中高频率出现的大于单个词的语言现象,它包括所有形式上具有固定性、语义上具有预制特征的多词单位。一般来说,词块包括习语、词语搭配、短语等等。词块不仅指 “in the end” 这样的连续性短语结构；也包括不连续的句子框架,如“not only...but also ”,还包括一些完整的句子,如“How do you do? ”。这些词块有完整的意义,可以直接运用于口、笔头交际。
