Fishing with birds
I usually set off in the late afternoon. First, I tie a piece of grass around the cormorants’ necks to stop them from eating big fish. Then when my boat reaches the right place in the river, I push them into the river. I use several ways to attract fish. During the day, I jump up and down on my boat. After dark, I hang a light on a post at the front of the boat. The cormorants bring the fish back to the boat. Then I take the fish from the birds’ mouths and throw them into a big basket.
